Australia's premier news desk operations academy
Founded by broadcast professionals, built for aspiring newsroom crews. Since 2012, newsdeckzo has been transforming media talent into broadcast-ready professionals across Australia.
Born from the newsroom floor
newsdeckzo was founded in 2012 by a group of former ABC News and Nine Network professionals who recognised a critical gap: journalism graduates were entering the workforce without the hands-on studio skills that broadcast employers demanded from day one.
What started as a small weekend workshop in a rented Sydney studio has grown into Australia's most respected training academy for anchor desk production, teleprompter integration, and multi-screen news deck management.
Today, newsdeckzo operates from a purpose-built 500 sqm broadcast training facility in the Sydney CBD, staffed by a faculty of current and former TV professionals whose combined experience spans every major Australian broadcast network.
